Session 6: Controlled Climbs with Kick

Wed 19th Nov 6:00 am to 7:00 am - Meet at the Spruce Goose

This lower-load session focuses on maintaining aerobic fitness while developing pacing discipline and finishing strength. Riders will complete three 6-minute efforts at Zone 3, each ending with a 30-second push at Zone 4. Scientifically, this combination helps preserve endurance while teaching riders how to finish climbs strongly without overreaching. The key benefit is building resilience for attacking over the top of climbs, especially in race or group ride scenarios, without risking overtraining.
