CRITS SOCIAL
SOCIAL: 25th MARCH
We race hard and we party harder! Racers, volunteers, spectators and all club members are invited to celebrate the end of a crit series.
WEATHER CANCELLATIONS
If rain or unfavourable conditions jeopordise safety then a weather call, will be made by 3pm that day and announced on Facebook and Teamup.
LIGHTS
Don't forget your bike lights if you're riding home. The days will be getting shorter each week. Don't you worry you can take them off for the racing!
HEFFRON: KNOW THE COURSE
Our local track. This tough 2km bumpy concrete course hosts some of the best criterium racing on the Sydney calendar. The course winds its way around playing fields so watch out for the dogs and members of the public straying onto the track! Heffron is open to cross winds, which can change the dynamics of the race. There are a few corners where you can lose out if your cornering is poor. The rubber band effect on this course is pretty hard going, more so as it's a rough and slow surface. Racing here is hard work and bad placement in the bunch makes it harder.
