CALGA

TIME TRIALS

ALSO KNOWN AS THE RACE OF TRUTH, IN A TIME TRIAL THERE IS NO PLACE TO HIDE. IT'S RIDER VERSUS THE CLOCK! IT'S JUST YOU, THE BIKE AND THE THUMPING OF YOUR HEART.

CALGA

This monthly time trial on the Central Coast is run by ATTA-NSW. Please check for cancellations with our Race Secretary or on the ATTA website before travelling. It is 70km to Calga from Centennial Park and there are no public transport options so driving is essential!

There are two distance options either 25km or 43km both of which start and finish at the same place. The turn for 25km course is a large cone at the 12.5km point. The 43km course is well signposted at every by-pass. Just follow the arrows. The Calga TT is held on open roads so riders must adhere to road rules and not ride the wrong direction in warm-up or warm-down.

Arrive no later than 7am for sign on, warm up and team/individual briefing. The start is on Peats Ridge Road on the corner of Jones Road. Riders start at 8.00am at one minute intervals. Your race number correlates with your start time, e.g. #59 will start at 8.59am

No experience or TT bike needed. Remember to bring front & rear lights, nutrition, hydration, spare tubes and tools.
